Antonia d’Amato was born in Rome; she graduated in Flute with honors from the Conservatory of Music "S. Cecilia "in Rome with M° A. Persichilli.
Her studies were completed with M° C. Klemm and with M° P.L. Graf.
Has a specialization in chamber music, studying with internationally renowned flutists such as M° A. Adorijan and M° A. Marion.
She attended courses in Music Therapy at the Pro Civitate Christian and at the Assisi Music Pescarese.
She played as First Flute in the international youth Orchestra of Lanciano, in chamber orchestra "Collegium Mucicum O. Respighi" in Rome and others.
She won several national and international chamber music and solo competitions, including:

The Concerts

With the Chamber music complex “Insieme Italiano” has played in 1991 in Mexico City – Auditorium of Anhuac University, where she received the “Reconocimiento Official por la Difucion Cultural” - in Miami at the Museum of Fine Arts - in Brisbane (Australia) at the Conservatory of Music Queensland - in Bangkok at the  Auditorium “Alliance francaise”, for the TV.
In 1992, has played at the “Academy of Music” in Warsaw - at the Teatro Nacional and at the "Sala Villa Lobos" of Brasilia – and also at the State Music Academy of Sofia.
In 1993 she performed in Santiago, Chile at the "Teatro Municipal" - in Buenos Aires at the auditorium “Centro Cultural Regolata” – at the "Chapel of St. Petersburg" Opera House - and at the "Hall of Art" in Moscow.
In 1994 she performed at the "Sidi Belyout" Theatre in Casablanca and tours in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
In 1995 was invited to a performance at the Opera House of Cairo, Egypt, and at the Hong Kong’s main theater "Isuen Wan Town Hall."
She also performed in several Italian and international tourneès with the Duo flute and piano, flute and guitar or flute and Celtic harp, having strong and deep appreciation by audiences and critics.
She presented, for the absolute first time, music of the spanish P. Estevan at the “Festival Incontri Musicali Romani”, Teatro Ghione, Rome, and of the italian S. Pistono at Palazzo Pitti in Florence.
She taught in the conservatories of music in Lecce, Latina and Perugia.
Currently holds the chair of Flute at the “Scuola Media Statale” with music specialization in Rome.
Has recorded a CD Italian'700 – Argentinean '900 for flute and guitar.
The Duo Dulcimer has recorded Celtic Music CD - Wedding Music CD.
